Avsallar is the only district a day trip names
This site covers nine resort districts around Alanya centre, and the boats' own pickup records name exactly three of them. Mahmutlar and Kestel appear in the night disco boat's zone. Avsallar appears in one record only — the Green Canyon day — which makes it the single district written into a daytime trip's pickup list rather than an evening one.
That is not a marketing line, it is the sentence in the product record: pickup from Alanya and Avsallar. Everything else on this page follows from it, and from the 24 Avsallar hotels sitting on our transfer list — only two of the nine districts we cover hold more.
What the Green Canyon day actually is
It is not a sea day. The trip runs to fresh water, and the swimming is in cold mountain-spring water at the anchorage stops — a genuine shock after a week of a Mediterranean that has been warming all season. People react in one of two ways: they stay in, or they are back on board very quickly. There is no middle position.
Nine hours, €33 for an adult and €20 for a child, with an open buffet served on board. The record marks it as suitable for families and for every fitness level, which is an unusually honest note to find on a full-day programme.
Included, excluded, priced — the Green Canyon day in full
- Included: round-trip hotel transfer from your Avsallar hotel, open buffet lunch on board, the canyon cruise and the swim stops in cold mountain water.
- Not included: drinks — and on this trip that covers bottled water too. No bar is recorded on the Green Canyon boat at all, so bring what you intend to drink.
- Price: €33 adult, €20 child aged 4-11. Infants under four travel free; from twelve the adult fare applies.
- Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before departure, as on every trip sold here.
The other boats, and the wording we will not stretch
Every other trip this site sells records its pickup as central Alanya or the Alanya resort strip. That transfer is inside the fare and it does serve the strip — but the word Avsallar appears in none of those records. So we will not write that one of them 'collects you in Avsallar'. What we do instead is check your hotel by name before you book.
- Pirate galleon, €20 adult / €14 child — central Alanya only. Pickup outside central Alanya is recorded as excluded and handled on request, and a request is not a promise. From Avsallar, ask first.
- Starcraft day cruise, €35 / €25 — central Alanya, with distant outlying resorts excluded.
- Night disco boat, €48 / €34 — central Alanya, Mahmutlar and Kestel. Avsallar is not in that zone, and anything outside the standard zone is recorded as excluded. This is the one where being west of the centre counts against you.
- Sunset boat, €35 / €25, and Suluada, €43 / €30 — the Alanya resort strip. The records do not break the strip into sub-areas, so we confirm your hotel individually.
- Fishing day, €50 / €35, and the private yacht at €580 for the whole boat, never per person — central Alanya.
- Manavgat river and bazaar, €43 / €30, Mondays and Thursdays — from Alanya by air-conditioned coach.
Two ways to the canyon, and only one names your district
Green Canyon turns up in two records: the nine-hour Green Canyon day, and the Manavgat river day with the bazaar, which runs Mondays and Thursdays and lists the canyon among its swim stops. From an Avsallar hotel these are not equivalent options. One of them names your district; the other names Alanya.
If the bazaar is the reason you want the Manavgat version, say so when you book and we will give you a straight answer rather than assume the transfer stretches. One more detail of that programme worth knowing in advance: the waterfall entrance is not in the fare.
Booking from an Avsallar hotel
Your hotel is one of 24 on the Avsallar list — Alaiye Resort & Spa, Annabella Diamond Hotel & Spa, Annabella Park Hotel and Antik Hotel among them. The pickup time comes back against that hotel, not against the district, which is why no clock time is printed anywhere on this page. One published time for a whole resort strip is exactly how people miss boats.
The rest is the same on every boat here: children 4-11 pay the child fare, infants under four go free, from twelve the adult fare applies, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
