Questions

Everything guests ask before booking

How much is the Alanya night boat?
€48 per adult and €34 per child aged 4 to 11, for four hours on the water. Round-trip transfer from hotels in central Alanya, Mahmutlar and Kestel is included. Drinks are extra.
Is there an age limit on the night disco boat?
The boat's own recorded conditions say the atmosphere is lively and best suited to teens and adults, and that under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. We do not list it as a family boat.
Are drinks included on the party boat?
No. There is a bar on board and drinks are paid for separately — there is no all-inclusive package. Eat before you board, because the boat serves no meal.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The cruise sails in light rain; only severe weather cancels a departure. If it is cancelled you pay nothing, because payment is taken on the day. You can also cancel free yourself up to 24 hours before.
What should I wear on the night boat?
Swimwear for the foam party, shoes you can dance in, and something with sleeves — it is cooler on the water after dark than it feels on shore. Bring cash or a card for the bar.
How much is a private yacht in Alanya?
It is quoted rather than listed. The figure moves with the boat, the date, how many hours you want and whether you would like food and drink laid on, so a headline price here would only be one you had to renegotiate. Tell us the day you have in mind and we will come back with a real number.
How many people fit on the yacht?
Up to twelve guests. The whole boat is yours — there are no other passengers and no fixed timetable.
Can we choose the route?
Yes, that is the point of chartering. The default run follows the day boats — out under the castle headland and west past Pirates' Cave, the Lovers' Grotto and the Phosphorus Cave — but with nobody waiting on the ladder you can stay anchored where the swimming is good, or skip a stop and keep going.
Is the private yacht good for a birthday or a proposal?
It is the only boat here where you have the deck to yourselves, which is what those days need. Tell us what the occasion is when you enquire and we will build the quote around it.
What is on board?
A captain and crew, snorkelling masks and a freshwater shower, with fuel, mooring fees and on-board safety equipment covered. Round-trip transfer from central Alanya districts is included. Meals and drinks are not standard but can be arranged in advance.
How much is the Alanya pirate boat trip?
€20 per adult and €14 per child aged 4 to 11; infants under 3 travel free. Two adults and two children come to €68 for the day. Hotel transfer and a cooked lunch are inside that price, and you pay on the day you sail.
Where does the pirate boat leave from?
Alanya harbour, directly beneath the castle headland and the Red Tower. You board from the quay itself — there is no tender and no second boat to change onto.
Which caves does the boat visit?
The route runs west along the hollowed cliffs past Pirates' Cave, the Lovers' Grotto and the Phosphorus Cave, slowing at each one. The boat passes them from the water rather than going inside.
Is lunch included on the pirate boat?
Yes — grilled chicken, rice and salad, cooked and served on the open deck. Drinks from the on-board bar are paid for separately, so bring some cash or a card.
Is the pirate boat good with children?
It is the boat we point families at. The foam party, the games and the animation crew are aimed at children, and the day is seven hours door to door, the shortest of the full-day boats. Children stay with the adults they came with; there is no supervised area on board.
Is the Green Canyon trip on the sea?
No. It is fresh water — a reservoir inland from Alanya, behind the Oymapınar dam. There is no swell at all, which makes it the right choice if the open sea does not agree with you.
How cold is the water?
Cold. It comes straight off mountain springs, and after a week of Mediterranean sea temperatures it is a shock. Some guests swim for a long time and some get in once and get straight out.
How long is the day and what does it cost?
About nine hours door to door, at €33 per adult and €20 per child aged 4 to 11. An open buffet lunch and round-trip coach transfer from Alanya and Avsallar are included.
Is it suitable for families?
Yes. The water is flat, the boat is calm and there are swim stops. The cold water is the only thing to warn small children about.
Do I need to bring fishing gear?
No. Rods, bait and basic tackle are provided and handed out on board, so you can come with no equipment and no experience at all.
Will we definitely catch something?
No, and anyone who promises otherwise is selling you something. The skipper knows the ground and takes you to where the fish usually hold, but this is fishing — some days are busy and some are just a nice day on a boat.
Can non-swimmers or children join?
Yes. All the fishing is done from the deck, and there is a swim stop later that is entirely optional. Children aged 4 to 11 pay €35 and infants under 3 travel free.
Is lunch included on the fishing trip?
Yes, a hot lunch is cooked and served on board. Drinks from the bar are paid for separately.
How long is the Starcraft boat trip?
Nine hours door to door, including the hotel transfer at both ends. That makes it the longest of the daytime boats from Alanya — the pirate galleon covers much the same coast in seven.
What is the difference between the Starcraft and the pirate boat?
The coastline is almost the same; the day is not. At €35 the Starcraft gives you two more hours on the water, which mostly buys time — more than one swim stop, time to dry off between them, and less queueing for the ladder. The pirate galleon at €20 is the shorter, cheaper version.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes, round-trip transfer from hotels along the Alanya strip is in the price. Your time is confirmed the evening before rather than published here, because the strip runs more than forty kilometres from Okurcalar to Kargıcak.
Can I join if I cannot swim?
Yes. Swim stops are optional and the deck is yours for the whole trip. Tell us when you book so the crew knows, and read the safety section on this page for what is actually recorded for this boat.
What should I bring?
Swimwear worn under your clothes, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and some cash for the bar. Towels are not handed out on board.
Which days does the Manavgat trip run?
Mondays and Thursdays only. Those are the days the Manavgat bazaar is actually held, and a market tour on a day the market is shut is a wasted day, so we do not sell one.
Is the Manavgat trip a sea trip?
No, and it is worth knowing before you book. The cruise is on fresh water — the reservoir behind the Manavgat dam, inland from Alanya. It is calm in a way the open sea never is, which suits anyone who dislikes a moving deck.
How much does it cost and how long is it?
€43 per adult and €30 per child aged 4 to 11, over about nine hours including the coach transfer from your Alanya hotel. An open buffet lunch is served on board.
Can you swim on the Manavgat trip?
Yes, there are swim stops along the reservoir. The water is noticeably colder than the Mediterranean, because it comes down out of the mountains.
What is at the Manavgat bazaar?
Spices, leather, textiles, clothing and fruit, along the riverbank, with the usual good-natured haggling. The day also takes in the Manavgat waterfall.
