Twenty hotels, and the first turn east out of the centre
Oba is where Alanya stops being the town centre and starts being the coast running east. It is the first district on that side, and that ordering matters more on a boat day than on any other day of a holiday: the coastal boats on this list sail from the harbour in the centre, so of the four eastern districts on our register, Oba is the one nearest the water they leave from.
It is also the biggest of the four. Twenty Oba hotels sit in the registry — more than any other district we serve east of the centre — and the names run from the Acar Hotel and the Artemis Princess to the Asia Beach Resort and the Antique Roman Palace. If you are reading this in one of those lobbies, the page is written for you rather than for the map.
What "transfer included" actually means from an Oba hotel
Round-trip hotel transfer appears in the included list of every trip on this site, and inside each boat's own recorded zone it costs nothing extra. The catch is that the zone belongs to the boat rather than to the town: every product carries its own wording, and Oba is not written into any of them by name.
What the records do say is central Alanya, or the Alanya resort strip — the strip Oba sits on as it leaves the centre going east. So the transfer covers the strip and your particular hotel is confirmed one at a time, before money changes hands, instead of being assumed from a district name. Send us the hotel; you get a yes or a no in writing, and cancellation stays free up to 24 hours before departure either way.
The night boat names two districts east of you — and not Oba
One product writes eastern district names into its own pickup record: the night disco cruise, which lists central Alanya, Mahmutlar and Kestel, and excludes anything outside that standard zone. Both of those districts lie further east than Oba does. It only looks strange until you remember that a pickup zone is an operational route, not a ranking of who sits closest to the harbour.
So we will not tell you the night boat collects in Oba, because its record does not say that. Ask us and it becomes a specific question about a specific hotel, which is answerable. The pirate galleon is the other one worth asking about early: its record is central Alanya only, with pickup outside the centre handled on request — and a request is not a promise.
The nine boats, and what an Oba stay should know about each
Fares below are per person, adult then child, exactly as each product carries them — with the private yacht as the single exception, priced for the whole boat. Children aged 4 to 11 pay the child fare, under-fours travel free, and 12 and over pay adult. One rule holds across the whole fleet and is worth reading twice: drinks are not included on any of these boats. Four of them run a paid bar; the rest carry no bar at all.
- Pirate galleon — €20 / €14, seven hours by day. Lunch of grilled chicken, rice and salad included, paid bar aboard, animation crew and music but no DJ and no foam. Swimming and snorkelling in the coves under the castle. Recorded pickup: central Alanya only, outside the centre on request.
- Starcraft day cruise — €35 / €25, nine hours. Lunch cooked on board, paid bar, and a daytime foam party between the swim stops. Recorded pickup: central Alanya, with distant outlying resorts excluded.
- Night disco cruise — €48 / €34, four hours after dark. Live DJ, animation team and a foam show; no meal, paid bar. The only boat here with both a DJ and foam. Recorded pickup: central Alanya, Mahmutlar and Kestel.
- Sunset cruise — €35 / €25, four evening hours with the castle and the Red Tower against the light. No food, no drinks, no bar at all; bring a layer, because it is cooler out there than on shore. Recorded pickup: the Alanya resort strip.
- Green Canyon day — €33 / €20, nine hours on cold mountain water with an open buffet aboard. No bar, and bottled water is not included either. Recorded pickup: Alanya and Avsallar.
- Manavgat river and bazaar — €43 / €30, nine hours, Mondays and Thursdays only, by air-conditioned coach with an open buffet. Comfortable shoes for the market; the waterfall entrance is not in the fare.
- Suluada — €43 / €30, a full day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The island lies well west of Alanya, the road leg is long, and there are no shops or facilities once you are on it. Recorded pickup: the Alanya resort strip.
- Fishing day — €50 / €35, six hours, hot lunch aboard, a swim stop in a sheltered bay, and nothing loud anywhere in the record. Air-conditioned vehicles; recorded pickup: central Alanya.
- Private yacht — €580 for the whole boat, never per person, six hours. Snorkelling masks aboard, the route adjustable with the captain, food and drink only if arranged in advance. Recorded pickup: central Alanya districts.
Booking it from Oba without a surprise
No clock time appears anywhere on this page, and that is deliberate. Pickup is confirmed hotel by hotel after booking, on every boat in the list. A page that prints one departure time for twenty different Oba hotels is guessing, and a guessed time is how people end up watching a boat leave.
What is fixed: the fare you see, the child rules, the transfer inside each boat's own zone, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. What is not fixed until we confirm it is whether your hotel falls inside the zone of the particular boat you want. Settle that question first and the rest of the day organises itself.
