Request your private boat

Private hire is quoted rather than priced from a list, because the number depends on the boat, the date, how long you want and what you would like laid on. Tell us what you have in mind and we will come back with a real figure.

The experience

A rock, a castle and a harbour — and one way to see all three

Alanya is built around a limestone headland that drops straight into the sea, with Seljuk walls running up it and the red-brick Kızıl Kule standing at the bottom since 1226. From the promenade you see one side of it. From the water you see the whole thing at once, which is why almost every visitor ends up on a boat at some point in the week.

The coastline west of the harbour is punched through with caves — Pirates' Cave, the Lovers' Grotto, the Phosphorus Cave — and the boats run along it slowly enough to look into them. Between the caves the water is deep enough to be properly blue and sheltered enough to swim in, so the day is a rhythm of cruising, anchoring, swimming, and cruising again.

What differs between the boats is the mood, not the coast: a galleon with foam and games for families, a bigger cruise with a full lunch, a night boat with a DJ, and a quiet evening sailing for people who want the coastline and the light and nothing else.

Stage by stage

How a boat day from Alanya runs

This is the shape of the classic pirate-boat day. The Starcraft cruise runs the same coast over a longer day; the evening boats compress it into four hours.

  1. 01

    Hotel pickup

You are collected from the main entrance of your hotel. The strip runs more than forty kilometres from Okurcalar to Mahmutlar, so the time depends on where you are staying — the office confirms yours the evening before rather than us printing a time here that would be wrong for half of you.

  2. 02

    Boarding at Alanya harbour

The transfer ends at the harbour, in the shadow of the Red Tower. You board directly from the quay; there is no tender and no queue for a smaller boat.

  3. 03

    Out under the castle

The boat pulls away and turns along the headland, so the castle walls and the tower stand above you as you leave. This is the photograph everyone takes, and it happens in the first ten minutes.

  4. 04

    The cave coastline

West of the harbour the cliffs are hollowed out. The boat runs close in past Pirates' Cave, the Lovers' Grotto and the Phosphorus Cave, slowing at each one.

  5. 05

    Swim stops in the coves

The crew drop anchor in sheltered water where you can swim off the boat. On the pirate and Starcraft days there is time for more than one stop, and snorkelling is part of it.

  6. 06

    Lunch on board

On the pirate, Starcraft and Manavgat days lunch is cooked and served on the boat and is included in the price. On the evening boats it is not — those are cruises, not meals.

  7. 07

    Foam party and games

The deck turns over to music, foam and the animation crew for the last stretch. On the night disco boat this is the whole point of the trip rather than an interlude.

Why book with us

A local operator, not a call centre

01

Seven real boats, not one repackaged

Each boat on this site is a separate day with its own price, length and character. We do not sell one cruise under seven names.

02

Hotel pickup along the strip

Round-trip transfer from hotels between Okurcalar and Mahmutlar is included on every boat. Staying outside that belt? Ask — we answer case by case rather than promising it on a page.

03

Nothing hidden

The price you see is the price for the cruise and the transfer, plus lunch on the boats where lunch is included. Where a boat has a bar rather than a meal, we say so.

04

Reserve free

No prepayment and no card. You pay in euros on the day you sail, and you can cancel free up to 24 hours before.

05

Four languages

Booking and WhatsApp support in English, German, Russian and Polish.

06

Children priced properly

Children aged 4–11 pay a reduced price on every boat, and infants 0–3 sail free. The reduction differs per boat, so each page shows its own figure.

Questions

Everything guests ask before booking

How much is the Alanya pirate boat trip?
€20 per adult and €14 per child aged 4 to 11; infants under 3 travel free. Two adults and two children come to €68 for the day. Hotel transfer and a cooked lunch are inside that price, and you pay on the day you sail.
Where does the pirate boat leave from?
Alanya harbour, directly beneath the castle headland and the Red Tower. You board from the quay itself — there is no tender and no second boat to change onto.
Which caves does the boat visit?
The route runs west along the hollowed cliffs past Pirates' Cave, the Lovers' Grotto and the Phosphorus Cave, slowing at each one. The boat passes them from the water rather than going inside.
Is lunch included on the pirate boat?
Yes — grilled chicken, rice and salad, cooked and served on the open deck. Drinks from the on-board bar are paid for separately, so bring some cash or a card.
Is the pirate boat good with children?
It is the boat we point families at. The foam party, the games and the animation crew are aimed at children, and the day is seven hours door to door, the shortest of the full-day boats. Children stay with the adults they came with; there is no supervised area on board.
