About this boat trip
The Starcraft is the boat to take when the coast is the point and you are not in a hurry to be back.
It covers the same stretch as the pirate galleon — out under the castle, west along the hollowed cliffs, anchored in the coves — but stretches it over a longer day, which changes the feel of it more than the extra hours suggest. There is time for more than one swim stop, time to dry off between them, and time to sit still and watch the coastline go past rather than queueing for the ladder.
You will see the same landmarks: the castle headland from the seaward side, the Red Tower guarding the harbour mouth, Cleopatra Beach as a pale line under the hill, and the three caves the boats always call at.
Lunch is cooked on board and included. There is a foam party and an animation crew, the same as the galleon, so this is not the quiet option — for that, take the evening sailing.
Round-trip hotel transfer along the Alanya strip is included, and nothing is paid until the day you sail.

Sea conditions and weather
The Alanya coast is sheltered by the headland and is usually calm through the summer, but the Mediterranean is still the sea and an afternoon breeze can put a chop on the water. If you are prone to seasickness, take something before you board rather than after.
If the weather turns and the boat does not sail, you pay nothing — you pay on the day you sail, and you can cancel free up to 24 hours before in any case.
Swimming, and when to tell us

Tell us in advance if someone in your party cannot swim, is pregnant, has a heart or back condition, or uses medication that matters on a long day out. It changes nothing about your booking; it just means the crew knows.
Children on board
Infants aged 0–3 travel free, children aged 4–11 pay the reduced child price, and from 12 the adult fare applies. Those are the bands the booking system actually charges from.
Children remain the responsibility of the adults they travel with. There is no supervised area and no childminding on any of these boats.
Boarding and access
This boat is not step-free. You board from the quay in Alanya harbour, and there are stairs between decks. Nobody is carried aboard — if walking a gangway and a few steps is difficult, tell us before you book and we will be straight with you about whether the day will work.

What we do not promise
- An exact pickup time. The hotel strip runs across 10 resort areas and more than forty kilometres, so yours is confirmed the evening before rather than guessed at here.
- Dolphins, turtles or any other wildlife. They are wild; some days you see them and most days you do not.
- Flat water. We will tell you the sea is usually calm, because it usually is. We will not tell you it always is.
- A star rating. We hold no verified reviews for these boats yet, so we publish none — a number we cannot show you the source of is worth nothing.

How long is the Starcraft boat trip?
Nine hours door to door, including the hotel transfer at both ends. That makes it the longest of the daytime boats from Alanya — the pirate galleon covers much the same coast in seven.
What is the difference between the Starcraft and the pirate boat?
The coastline is almost the same; the day is not. At €35 the Starcraft gives you two more hours on the water, which mostly buys time — more than one swim stop, time to dry off between them, and less queueing for the ladder. The pirate galleon at €20 is the shorter, cheaper version.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes, round-trip transfer from hotels along the Alanya strip is in the price. Your time is confirmed the evening before rather than published here, because the strip runs more than forty kilometres from Okurcalar to Kargıcak.
Can I join if I cannot swim?
Yes. Swim stops are optional and the deck is yours for the whole trip. Tell us when you book so the crew knows, and read the safety section on this page for what is actually recorded for this boat.
What should I bring?
Swimwear worn under your clothes, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and some cash for the bar. Towels are not handed out on board.
