Which Alanya Boat Trip Should You Choose?

Match the boat to the day you want. Family day with lunch and swimming: the pirate galleon (€20) or the nine-hour Starcraft (€35), which fires off a foam party between swims. A DJ sails only after dark, on the night disco boat (€48). An evening for two: the sunset sailing (€35). Quiet: fishing or that same sunset. Cold fresh water: Green Canyon (€33). A boat to yourselves: the private yacht, €580 for the whole boat, never per person. No trip includes drinks.

If you want this, take that

  • A family day with lunch, swimming and someone to entertain the kids — the pirate galleon: €20 an adult, €14 a child, seven daytime hours, a grilled-chicken lunch included and an English-speaking animation crew. Non-swimmers are welcome aboard.
  • The same kind of day, but longer — the Starcraft: €35, nine hours, lunch cooked fresh on board. One honest caveat from its own listing: it is not recommended for anyone with serious mobility limitations.
  • A DJ, a foam party and a night out — the Starcraft disco night: €48 for four evening hours, live DJ, animation team and a foam show. It is the only trip we sell with a DJ — daytime foam also fires on the Starcraft — and no meal is recorded, so eat before you board. Under-18s come accompanied.
  • An evening for two — the sunset sailing: €35, four evening hours, the castle and the Red Tower against the light. Nothing is served on board, and it is cooler out there than on shore, so bring a layer.
  • Quiet — the fishing day (€50, six hours, hot lunch included, nothing loud recorded on this boat) or that same sunset sailing. We do not run a dedicated relax boat, so these are the honest answers.
  • Cold fresh water instead of the sea — the Green Canyon day: €33, nine hours, open buffet, mountain-spring water that stays cold. It is also the only trip with a recorded Avsallar pickup.
  • A river, a bazaar and no swimming required — the Manavgat day: €43 with an open buffet, Mondays and Thursdays only. Wear comfortable shoes for the bazaar, and know the waterfall entrance is not in the price.
  • An island a long way out — Suluada: €43, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, roughly 200 km west with a long road leg, and no shops or facilities once you are on the island.
  • A boat with nobody aboard but your group — the private yacht: €580 for the whole boat for six hours, route adjustable, weather permitting. That figure is the boat's price, not a per-person rate.

The drinks row, answered once

No trip we sell includes drinks. Not one. The pirate galleon, the Starcraft and the disco night all carry a bar, and everything from it is paid; the fishing day includes a hot lunch but excludes the bar; the Green Canyon buffet does not even cover bottled water; the Manavgat buffet comes without drinks too. Anyone promising you an all-inclusive Alanya boat tour is not describing this fleet.

Two trips go further still. The sunset sailing serves nothing at all — no food, no drinks — and the private yacht carries food and drink only if you arrange it in advance.

How the pricing behaves

Every shared boat is priced per person, and the child rule is the same everywhere: infants up to three sail free, children of four to eleven pay the child fare, and from twelve you pay the adult price. So a couple with a six-year-old on the pirate galleon pays €20 + €20 + €14 = €54 for the day, lunch included.

The yacht flips that logic. €580 buys the boat itself, whichever of you steps aboard — the price never multiplies by headcount, and any listing that quotes it per person has misread it.

Whichever way you decide, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, so a wrong choice costs nothing until the day before.

Days and pickup — the practical filter

Two trips run on fixed days: Manavgat goes Monday and Thursday, Suluada goes Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. If your week is short, check those two against your calendar first.

Pickup depends on where you sleep. Central Alanya is covered for the pirate galleon, the Starcraft, the fishing day and the yacht; the disco night also collects from Mahmutlar and Kestel; the sunset sailing and Suluada work the Alanya resort strip; Green Canyon alone records an Avsallar pickup; Manavgat travels from Alanya by air-conditioned coach. Exact collection is confirmed per hotel — which is why no page on this site prints a departure hour.

If you wanted a ranking instead

This page sorts the trips by what you want from the day; it deliberately does not rank them. If you would rather see the boats lined up against each other, our guide to the best boat trips in Alanya does exactly that, and the party boats page covers the night scene on its own.

Pick your row above, check the drinks and pickup sections against it, and book. The table does not get more complicated than that.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which Alanya boat trip is best for a family?
The pirate galleon or the Starcraft day. The galleon is €20 an adult and €14 a child for seven hours with lunch and an animation crew, and non-swimmers are welcome; the Starcraft is €35 for nine hours with lunch cooked on board, though it is not recommended for serious mobility limitations.
Which boat has the foam party?
Only the Starcraft disco night — €48 for four evening hours with a live DJ, animation team and foam show. No other trip we sell records a DJ or foam. It suits teens and adults, and under-18s come accompanied.
Is any Alanya boat trip all-inclusive with drinks?
No. Not one of our trips includes drinks. Where a bar is aboard it is paid, the sunset sailing serves nothing at all, and the private yacht carries food and drink only by advance arrangement.
What if I just want a quiet day on the water?
There is no dedicated relax boat, so we will not sell you one. The quiet options actually on record are the fishing day, the sunset sailing and the private yacht — nothing loud is recorded on any of them.
Is the €580 yacht price per person?
No — €580 is the price of the whole boat for six hours, however many of your group step aboard. It is never charged per person.
Can I change my mind after booking?
Yes. Every trip cancels free up to 24 hours before departure, so choosing today does not lock you in until the day before you sail.
